Development of customer specific algorithms, especially combinatorial optimization algorithms and general numerical methods as well as compiler optimization approaches.
Parallelization, optimization and porting of own and customer codes especially for multicore CPU and GPU systems.
Participation in various national and international research projects, e.g. ENHANCE, FAST, MACH, WAVE, RoKoRa.
Supervision of students and theses.
